Press Release: Nutraceuticals Manufacturer to Revitalize Operations with DEACOM ERP

WAYNE, PA – May 28, 2014 – Deacom, Inc., producer of an ERP software solution specifically for nutraceutical manufacturing and other process-based manufacturing industries, announced today that Sonoma Nutraceuticals, private label manufacturer of a diverse line of natural health products, including protein powders, tablets and capsules, has selected the DEACOM Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to modernize their operations in preparation for growth. 
 
A subsidiary of distribution company Body Plus Nutritional Products, Sonoma inherited an ERP system that lacked critical manufacturing-specific functionality and production capabilities. It required a heavy reliance on manual process workarounds to support lot tracking, inventory control, quality control and document management. Additionally, it required numerous customizations that only had a marginal impact while making the system difficult to use and inhibiting visibility.
 
Despite these challenges, Sonoma has a track record of successfully delivering high-quality products, resulting in a history of rapid growth and projections for equally significant future growth.  This commitment to their quality and customer base has led Sonoma to take proactive steps to ensure that they can continue to maintain their reputation for quality, while pursuing their goals.  This includes the implementation of a complete ERP system built specifically to address their multi-facility process manufacturing needs, and strengthen their process control.
