Press Release: Food Manufacturer Selects DEACOM ERP Software to Facilitate Growth

WAYNE, PA – January 9, 2014 – Deacom, Inc., producer of an ERP software solution specifically for food manufacturing and other process-based manufacturing industries, is pleased to announce that Terri Lynn, Inc., a direct source supplier of nuts, dried fruits, chocolate-covered and yogurt-coated products, has selected the DEACOM Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

Experiencing strong organic growth, Terri Lynn has been evaluating ways to streamline their manufacturing processes in an effort to continue the expansion, while also maintaining the quality for which they are known.  They found that their inefficient legacy ERP system was limiting their potential and would need to be replaced with a more agile solution that offers greater visibility, consistency and process control -- an ERP solution built specifically to handle the needs of a food manufacturer.

Terri Lynn immediately saw the value of the DEACOM single system model, and how the elimination of bolt-ons and modules would benefit their business.  They cited DEACOM’s flexible reporting with detailed drill downs, Point of Sale (POS) functionality that supports real-time transactions, and built-in Warehouse Management System (WMS) with fully integrated scanning, as solutions to specific challenges they are currently facing.

Terri Lynn also stated their appreciation for Deacom’s ability to build enhancements into the base code of the software without the need for traditional customizations, as well as Deacom’s honesty and transparency regarding their current system functionality and what would likely be a required enhancement.

“It is refreshing to work with a vendor that is completely up front with us”, said Terri Lynn’s IT Director Roger Gross.  “We have every confidence that Deacom will provide an ERP solution that will not only meet our functionality requirements, but will also enable our growth and evolution as a company.”
