WAYNE, PA – May 7, 2013 – Deacom, Inc., producer of an ERP software solution for process manufacturers, announced today that Cloverdale Foods Company, a food manufacturer of high quality processed meats, has licensed the DEACOM Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to streamline their manufacturing operations.
With an aggressive plan for growth in mind, Cloverdale recognized they would need a new ERP system in order to handle an increase in demand. They were using several systems that did not communicate with each other, creating silos of information that hindered visibility and their capacity for making good business decisions. Unnecessary complexity caused by these disparate systems and numerous manual workarounds was becoming increasingly prohibitive and would only compound as they continue to grow.
Cloverdale had an affinity for Deacom’s model almost immediately. The flexibility of the single software system and ability to make enhancements ensured that all of their functionality needs would be met, while also providing scalability in alignment with their short and long-term plans.
“In addition to our appreciation for the DEACOM software model, we were impressed by their dedication to learning the Cloverdale business and genuine interest in our success with implementation,” said Miranda Bergquist, Finance Executive at Cloverdale. “The buy-in we received internally made making the decision to move forward that much easier.”
