WAYNE, PA – July 24, 2014 – Deacom, Inc., producer of a modern, single system Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solution specifically for food manufacturing and other process-based manufacturing industries, announced today that Surlean Foods, trusted custom-protein partner to numerous national restaurant chains, has selected DEACOM ERP to support a multi-facility expansion.
Surlean has seen a substantial increase in sales volume that recently resulted in the addition of two new facilities; a 114,000-square-foot culinary research and development center in San Antonio, as well as a 90,000-square-foot production facility in Dallas. The systems they had in place to support the single-plant operation were not built to effectively handle multiple sites, or increased production and throughput. Recognizing that they would ultimately become a hindrance to the company’s progress, Surlean proactively began the search for a new enterprise-wide solution.
