Press Release: Launch of new DEACOM University 2.0 Scheduled for June 2015

Wayne, PA – June 3, 2015: Deacom, Inc, a leading provider of ERP software for batch process manufacturers, is pleased to announce the launch of DEACOM University 2.0 to assist customers in implementing the DEACOM software and help train existing customers on new features within the software.
 
Through DEACOM University 2.0, Deacom will be offering live instructor led training virtually through a portal within the DEACOM Help System. Customers can register for classes and achieve certification in the DEACOM ERP, Warehouse Management (WMS), Mobile, Point of Sale (POS) and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) solutions online, with minimal disruption to their day-to-day business. “This blended approach to educating our customers allows Deacom to create an in-depth, standard baseline of knowledge to accelerate the implementation process and help existing customers stay up to date on new functionality,” says Steve Ralis, Implementation Manager at Deacom. “The DEACOM system evolves extremely rapidly and we are excited to leverage DEACOM University to help all of our customers achieve the maximum business benefit with each new release. With Deacom’s unique ERP approach of releasing each new version of DEACOM at no additional cost to all existing customers, DEACOM University has an added level of importance to ensure customers are taking advantage of the model.”
 
The DEACOM University schedule will feature entry level courses such as DEACOM 101 and Accounting 101 and dive into deeper topics such as production scheduling, maintenance operations and MRP. “One of the classes I’m most excited for,” states Scott Deakins, Software Operations Manager at Deacom, “is the maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) class. We built the MRO system over the past year from scratch. The MRO features have the potential to drive a lot of value for process manufacturers and having it integrated into the DEACOM ERP system makes the offering truly unique.”
 
In addition to live virtual and onsite training, DEACOM University will provide short online video tutorials, workbooks, and lab assignments to reinforce concepts covered during training. As a bonus, DEACOM University is an accredited program that offers CPE credits from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and the Institute for Supply Chain Management (ISM).
