WAYNE, PA – September 12, 2012 – Deacom, Inc., producer of the DEACOM Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system for batch process manufacturing companies, has announced upcoming DEACOM University courses in purchasing, inventory and formula management.
DEACOM University’s Purchasing course will be held October 17-18, 2012. The course will explain the features and options available in the DEACOM purchasing area and the situations in which these features would be the most appropriate for a company’s purchasing and vendor management requirements. Users will learn how to configure required setups and modify reports, as well as how to research the inventory and general ledger postings related to the receipt and invoicing process.
The Inventory and Formulation course will be held November 12-16, 2012. The Inventory session will cover how the item master parts are used in DEACOM, how to modify cost and pricing, and how to manage reports and the inventory tracking process. The Formulation session will demonstrate the various options available for formula management, review item master properties, create calculations and set up secure access to BOM modifications.
DEACOM University is an accredited program dedicated to training users in every aspect of the DEACOM Integrated Accounting and ERP Software System. The three-day training course offers CPE credits from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and the Institute for Supply Chain Management (ISM) and is specially developed to educate DEACOM users in a classroom or virtual learning session. Prerequisites are not required.
