Press Release: Deacom, Inc. to Host Two DEACOM University Courses in Conjunction with its Latest ERP Software Release

WAYNE, PA – March 19, 2012 - Deacom, Inc., producer of the DEACOM Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system for mid-to-large sized batch process manufacturing companies, will hold two training courses in April in conjunction with their version 14.3 software release.
 
The DEACOM Master Production Calendar course will be held April 18-19, 2012 and offers users a comprehensive overview of the latest enhancements to the Master Production Calendar included in DEACOM 14.3. The calendar displays every step in the job’s routing or manufacturing sequence, and in the workcenter where the step is to be processed. Learn how to set up your items to take advantage of the features of the Master Production Calendar, and how to get the most out of this new functionality.
 
DEACOM Lot Locations/Master Lot course will run April 30-May 1, 2012 and is designed to familiarize users with two new enhancements included in version 14.3 in both the location and storage of inventory items. This course will teach users how to use the new location table and master lot functionality to make your warehouse management more efficient.
 
Also included in this course is an overview of the enhanced DEACOM Unit of Measure conversion functionality. Version 14.3 includes significant changes in the way that different units of measure are converted. This affects item masters, purchasing, sales, BOM maintenance, and production jobs. Learn how to set up the master unit of measure table to make your operations run more efficiently.
 
DEACOM University is an accredited program dedicated to training users in every aspect of the DEACOM Integrated Accounting and ERP Software System. Each two-day training course offers CPE credits from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and the Institute for Supply Chain Management (ISM) and is specially developed to educate DEACOM users in a classroom or virtual learning session. Prerequisites are not required.
