We work across multiple industries with multiple clients, exposing us to a wide variety of unique challenges. One week you will be working on designing a new inventory tracking system, eliminating wasted floor space in the warehouse, and the next you will be implementing new interfaces into an eCommerce system, allowing customers to track prior purchases and recommend new products. At Deacom you will be in a position to design the future solutions to these challenges.

  • Challenge yourself by working with some of the newest technologies to advance the software. Stay current on leading cross platform development trends with the use of Xamarin and C# 8.0 features.
  • Take on the challenges you love solving, there is no shortage of them in the world of ERP software. Tracking the movement of inventory across the supply chain, designing a point of sales system for delivery drivers selling products to customers, or implementing a production scheduling system to keep a warehouse operating smoothly. You will have the opportunity to solve the kinds of challenges you enjoy taking on.
  • Let your coding skills do the talking by working on API integrations, diagnosing and solving complicated defects, and building entirely new functionality from scratch.
  • Understand your individual impact through peer-driven development training.
  • Our office has a wide range of collaborative and breakout spaces. If you need a space where you and several others need to think things through on a whiteboard, you’ve got it.

The Typical Skills

  • A Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in developing object-oriented (OOP) software applications. This could be C#, Java, VB.NET, Python - you name it.
  • Experience in SQL whether its Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas to team members with varying levels of technical expertise.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with LINQ syntax.
  • Experience working with NUnit and Xamarin frameworks.
  • Experience with JavaScript and jQuery.
  • Enterprise application development experience.
