DEACOM University provides classroom based training for new and experienced users across all roles. Learners can attend a class at the Deacom office location hosting the training or attend remotely via virtual meeting tools. Training materials, labs, and training systems are provided for the sessions. The Deacom trainers have deep experience in the software and emphasize how functions drive business solutions throughout the sessions. As a bonus, DEACOM University is an accredited program that offers CPE credits from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and the Institute for Supply Chain Management (ISM).
All DEACOM University classes are recorded and available as a recorded session. No CPE credits are at stake as part of DEACOM OnDemand, but the structure allows attendees to learn at their own pace and take time in between topics to apply what they have learned in the training session. The courses are provided within the DEACOM Help System once unlocked and include the course booklet, all labs, and the video recording from the class. Have further questions after the session on what was learned? Holler at the technical support team to ask questions or be directed to another resource to get those questions answered.
Because Deacom is constantly deploying new enhancements to support the evolving industry it supports, training is even more important in driving long term success. We want you to take advantage of all our new features in each release. So, in addition to giving you each new release at no additional cost, we also provide free DEACOM University and OnDemand classes for each release. Additionally, Deacom provides all customers with free access to classes during the implementation process, as we want them to understand the value that the classes provide to attendees.
Please note that as of May, 2016 Deacom will primarily offer prerecorded DU trainings that users may access at any time. These videos are available via the "Available Courses" sub-menu in the DEACOM University menu. Additional information on this new format will be posted to this page in the coming weeks. Courses are free to customers during the system implementation period. Once customers "go live" with DEACOM, training fees will apply. Fees include training materials, a daily lunch, and snacks onsite. We ask onsite attendees to bring a laptop if possible.

To earn CPE credits you must complete a registration form, sign-in each day you attend, complete a feedback survey at the end of course, obtain a score of 75% or better on the course exam and request a CPE certificate by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and class you attended. Once these steps have been recorded, a certificate with the number of credits earned will be emailed. Complete information on Deacom’s CPE policy is available in the Deacom Help System via the DEACOM University menu. *Note: CPE credits are not automatically sent once surveys and tests have been completed. Users must email Deacom requesting CPE credits be sent.
Deacom is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Cancellations received in writing at least 10 to 15 business days prior to the event will receive a full refund. Registrants requesting to cancel or reschedule a course 5-9 business days before the event date may reschedule the course within a six month period. No refunds or course rescheduling is available for cancellations or reschedule requests received less than 5 days before the event start date.
